Cheap Fares to Bismarck

Hey all -- Delta is having a special on flights from Salt Lake City to Bismarck. It is part of their weekend special this week. You have to leave on Saturday 8/22 and return Monday or Tuesday 8/25. It is $79 each way. Just thought I'd post this in case anyone wanted to take advantage of it.

Graduation!

Hey all! I just realized that people haven't been posting in a while on here. I just wanted to let you all know that I am FINALLY graduating from BYU! It really is about time. I feel like I have been here forever. I just wish the economy was a little better. That means that I don't have a job yet (though I am still waiting to hear about a couple of things), but hopefully I will know soon what I am going to be doing in the future.
So, I will be graduating on April 24! I add a picture of me in my graduation cap and gown as soon as I get them.

My Bismarck Friends

I've just been thinking about my Bismarck Friends who actually still live in Bismarck. With all the crazy flooding and stuff, I've been wondering how you are all holding up? I haven't been keeping up with the news very well about it, so I haven't heard an update on the progress of all the work they've been doing, but I hope you are all well, and that your homes and families are safe. Hopefully April will start acting like Spring soon!

ND Cabin Time Again!

Amy and Ken Johnson are hosting another VERY fun little trip at the Cabin near Heber, UT once again! If you have NOT received an e-mail from Amy or myself, please let us know and we will send you the information.
Amy needs to know the numbers soon to purchase all the food, so give her a call!

First Stay: Wednesday, February 4 5pm through Saturday, February 7
(*you may come and go as you please, even if you cannot spend nights you can come for the day!)

Livia's Blessing Day

For anyone who is interested in coming to Livia's baby blessing, we will be blessing her on November 2. Our ward meets at 1:00. The chapel is located at 1250 S 400 E in Springville. You are all more than welcome to come, we'd love to see you there! My whole family except for Jill and her family will be there, I'm sure they'd love to see you too!

Big News!!!

Ok. I have some great news and hadn't had the time to write and tell you all.
So here it goes. I'd been dating with Uri for six years, and last august we applied together to a job at Bogota, Colombia.
We started thinking we would go and live together for one or two years if we got the job, and then later we would got married.

So... We got the job, and all of the sudden we realized we wanted to get married and get to Colombia as husband and wife. This was like a month or two ago. So we did everything a little fast!!!
We told our families and planned something with the nearest people, because we only got married by the civil marriage now, and will get married by the synagogue when we are back. That will be in one or two years.
The job we are going to do at Colombia is leaders of the jewish youth there, and that is something I really love doing and I am very happpy about it.

So now... I am a married woman and will be leaving to Colombia in two more weeks... I can't believe the changes I am having in my life rigth now, but also I am so happy for this changes, I am excited!!

So I wanted to shared this big happiness in my life with all of you, because each one of you have a very special part in my heart. Here are some pictures of the marriage. Love you all!!!

OK, so it's been a long time since anyone has posted anything... there's gotta be something of interest to say and hear out there... Let's be more involved with each other again!!

Also, I was just curious, is anyone going to ND for Christmas this year? My whole family is planning on being there, so I was wondering if I get to look forward to seeing any of you there too. (And because I can't really think of anything else interesting to say. Except maybe that I'm having a baby next week, I guess that's pretty exciting...)

Bismarck Party with Matt Ballantyne!

Hey all of you Bismarck-ians! Matt Ballantyne is coming into town (Utah) to visit his brother (Mike). I wanted to throw a little get together since he will be here in town and also since I don't see many of you very often either.

So the party will be at my house which is in Lehi. This is centrally located for you people that live way far north (Layton) and the southerners (Provo). My address is 514 South 2970 West in Lehi. The subdivision is called Jordan Willows and is right of Lehi main street. Just look it up on google maps or call me (380-4226).

We have plenty of games to play and of course the classics that don't require a board. We will also provide food and of course the Ballantynes! I guess if you want to bring something you can, but with the price of gas I figured we just want your bodies here. The party will begin at 7:00pm and go until the fun ends... It will be on Saturday, July 12, 2008.

New Financial Trivia Quizes, win $50!

I (Ryan Harding) am beginning a new program that I am going to test for the next 3 months to see how it does. I am very excited about it and think it will be fun to do.

Every month I am going to have a financial trivia quiz with roughly 10 questions, all those that take the quiz and get most of them right (8 out of 10) I will enter into a drawing for $50 that will take place at the beginning of the following month. If I have a lot of people taking this quiz than I will probably increase the prize amount or increase how many prizes I give away. So spread the news.

my hair cut

Okay, so I just donated my hair for locks of love. I ended up donating 12 inches but 13 came of to make the cut even.
It is strange to not have long hair. The last time I had it short was my senior year. I have cut it and stuff, but it has been a long time since it was this short.

The comb in this picture measures 7 inches, one inch is above the ponytail and then four more on the bottom. It seems crazy to think I had that much hair cut off.
Lilly can't grab it like she used too, and Timmy has a harder time tangling it all up which is nice.
Me and my short hair. Lilly, when you get older if you want to donate, you can. And Don't worry.... It will grow back.
